D3O, the world’s leading impact protection company, is delighted to announce a new partnership with glove manufacturer PT Sport. The partnership sees PT Sport appointed an official licensee of D3O technologies for the manufacturing of protective gloves with D3O impact protection.
As a D3O licensee, PT Sport will be able to manufacture, market and sell a range of impact gloves with D3O to established brand partners. The agreement merges the design know-how and manufacturing capability of PT Sport with D3O’s industry-leading impact performance materials, enabling wider access to protective gloves that combine comfort and dexterity with the highest level of impact protection.
The partnership follows the recent introduction of the new ANSI/ISEA 138-2019 American National Standard for Performance and Classification for Impact-Resistant Gloves. The new standard provides an easy-to-understand measure of the level of impact protection Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gloves offer. There are three levels of performance specified by the standard, with Level 3 being the highest level of performance. D3O impact technologies exceed Level 3 protection levels, without compromise on bumper thickness, ensuring unrivalled comfort and flexibility for the wearer.
