Tahnée Seagrave cemented her place as one of the downhill mountain bike scene’s most promising young talents with victory at the Junior World Championships. Her career highlights include a bronze and two silver medals at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.
Tahnée’s 2019 season got off to a flying start with victory at Round 1 of the Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup in Maribor, Slovenia. A heavy crash during a practice run at Fort William saw her undergo a shoulder operation and miss the next six rounds of the competition, however she returned to action in stunning style, picking up a silver medal at the World Championships in Canada just three months later. In February 2020 a new crash resulted in a dislocated ankle, broken tibia and fibula, putting her out of action for the start of the 2020 season.
“I use any injury time to double down on helping with new product development,” says Tahnée. “My profession requires highly advanced protective gear, and my scars and audience are there to remind me that I need to keep pushing to help set the standard for protection. I get asked for advice on what protective gear to wear on a daily basis! D3O and Fox are working together constantly to apply protection to new areas that are susceptible to injury and adapt it for wider use.”
Protected by D3O® and FOX Racing, Tahnée is able to take on each trail knowing we’ve got her back.
